He enjoyed watching movies, just like his film-buff father, who would often take him to the cinema. Struggles and Inspiration
He believed that after graduating from film school, he would directly get into the industry, it would be a golden ticket into the industry. But something else happened; he had to start from scratch instead. He and his friend started a website to write film analysis and reviews, which helped him connect with other movie enthusiasts. They later helped him with fundraising for his short movie. He built contacts and started pitching his scripts and concepts to producers. His trials were successful; one of his movies went into pre-production but was put on hold in the middle. After a struggle for six long years, he finally made his debut movie as a director.
He draws inspiration from the famous directors Mani Ratnam, Selvaraghavan, Sukumar, Martin Scorsese, and Anurag Kashyap, who inspired him a lot.
The Origin Story of Patang:
He shared a memory about his movie, Patang, and how it all started. In 2018, he and his school friend Vamsi Pujit made a short movie titled Black Coffee.

The film received a very good response and was nominated for SIIMA.

After that, he wanted to make a movie with all the newcomers, so he started writing the movie Patang with his friend Vamsi Pujit as the main lead in 2019. Once the draft was done, he shared that with his close friends. They also shared the draft with the director, Naani Bandreddi, a brother to him (a close-knit relation); he read the draft and loved it. Naani said, “If he had the money, he would have produced it.” Pujit and Praneeth started pitching the script to the producers. Most of them loved it, but there was a bigger concern: the budget. It was risky to spend a lot of money on freshers. But Praneeth Prattipati did not give up; he kept pitching the concept and script to producers, and finally, one day in 2022, the director Naani Bandreddi himself produced the movie, and that is how the Patang began.

At the beginning of his work on the set, he was extremely nervous, seeing many people around and waiting for his commands because he was directing the movie. It all felt like magic when he approved the first take and relieved his tension.
Well, Patang was his debut movie as a director, which is yet to be hit on the big screens.

Moreover, he has worked as a writer for the movie Rajahmundry Rose Milk, which is yet to be released.
