Saketh Komanduri is one of the most talented and renowned singers, and a Music Director. He has struggled for years to reach the present position of eminence. He has been a part of more than 2500 concerts and shows performing in different parts of the world like India, United States of America – USA, Kuwait, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Qatar, and many other countries.
He attained fame as a Music director for composing music for the movies Kannullo Nee Roopame and Bhagyanagara Veedhullo Gamathu.
Saketh Komanduri was born in Chodavaram Town, Vishakapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, India on 11 February 1992. He was born to a beautiful couple, Mr. Komanduri Ramachary and Mrs. Sujatha Dhawala. Mr. Ramachary Garu is a celebrated Music Director, Singer, and was crowned as a Music Guru as he trained many of the singers and music directors of the Film Industry.
Mrs. Sujatha has been working as a Telugu and Sanskrit lecturer for a long time. Saketh Komanduri has a sister Sony Komanduri, who is also a playback singer. Sony Komanduri has sung many songs and is one of the distinguished singers. She gained popularity by giving her voice to the song Hamsa Naava from the movie Bahubali: The Beginning, composed by Keeravani Garu.
Saketh Komanduri often in his statements, mentions that he considers both his mother and sister as a support system and says that he will forever remain in their debt for the struggle and hardship they have gone through to help him build his career.
While talking about role models, Saketh has mentioned that his father and Shankar Mahadevan have influenced him a lot in his compositions as well as his singing.
Mr. Komanduri Ramachary garu has started a music academy named Little Musicians, where many of the acclaimed singers of the film industry such as Hema Chandra, Geetha Madhuri, Mohammad Irfan (Bollywood Singer), Krishna Chaitanya, Pranavi, Deepu, Satya Yamini, Ramya, and many others were trained. Saketh himself was trained under his father which he considers a privilege.
The academy has been running for the past 22 years, the remarkable thing is that they do not charge any fee to the students of the academy. Ramachary garu considers no-cost coaching as a service and he feels proud of being helpful to the young aspiring musicians in reaching their goal.
Though Saketh was born at Chodavaram he was brought up in Hyderabad, Telangana. He has attended Little Flower High School, and later moved to Narayana concept school for his secondary education.
He studied his intermediate in Sri Chaitanya Junior College. In the process of pursuing his dream a Musician, Saketh then joined St. Luke’s College of Music and Audio Production at Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his bachelor’s in Audio Engineering and Western Vocals under the mentor/Guru Ashirvad Luke.
He has completed five grades of western piano and three grades of theory music at the Royal School of Arts, London in a distance education course. Saketh was mentored by Guru Mr. Marthand and Mr. Thomas from the Royal School of London.
We all know that Saketh Komanduri is a versatile singer, and he has exquisite harmony in both western and classical form of music. Saketh has started his Carnatic Classical training from his childhood, and he got trained in Carnatic music under the tutelage of Oruganti Leelavathi garu, D.V Mohan Krishna Garu, Neetha Chandra Sekhar garu, and presently under Dr. Vyzharsu Balasubrahmanyam garu.
Saketh took to the stage at an early age of Three – 3 years and has participated in many concerts, reality shows, and stage shows.
He was a finalist in the program Padalani Undhi hosted by S. P. Bala Subrahmanyam Garu. He hosted Super Singer Juniors telecasted in Maa TV, and Colours of Music telecasted in Maa Music. Saketh Komanduri worked as a Mentor in Super Singer 8 and also as a Member of the Grand Jury in Saregamapa in Zee Telugu.
Having a celebrated music director and singer, Komanduri Ramachary garu as his father, he has struggled a lot to establish his own identity in the industry, going to the extent of informing everyone that both his parents are teachers, where only his mother was one.
Saketh started his career singing for movies since his childhood, at the age of 7 – 8 years old and has sung songs for movies like Gangotri, Neeku Nenu Naku Nuvvu, Balu, and many others as a child vocal singer.
Then he took a break of 4 – 5 years for his voice to develop due to adolescence. Later he was back on track and started working with Keeravani sir (Music director) for movies like Badrinath, Shiridi sai as Chorus singer. After 6 years of singing chorus in the film industry, he got an opportunity to sing as a lead singer.
He recorded his first song as a lead singer for the movie Selfie Raja and even rendered his voice for a song along with his sister Sony Komanduri under the music direction of Sai Karthik Garu, later the same music director gave him an opportunity to sing the title song for the movie Raja the Great.
Saketh often states his first recording experience with Sai Karthik garu as a memorable one. Sai Karthik is one of the amazing music directors with an experience of more than 25 years in the film industry.
This gave him a kickstart for his inspiring career, and from then he has sung songs for many music directors as Keeravani, Mani Sharma, S.S Thaman. He earned many opportunities and proved his talent every time without letting down.

- Saketh Komanduri has also been a part of the Baahubali Journey for about two and a half years.
Saketh received many prestigious awards like Ugadi Puraskaras, Delhi Telugu academy awards.
As a student of NCC, Saketh took part in the Republic day camp usually known as RDC, and even received the most prestigious President medal and Prime Minister medal from the hands of the honorable President of India of that time i.e Prathiba Devisingh Patil (12th President of India from 2007 – 2012) and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (13th Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014).
Saketh Komanduri got married to Poojitha on Feb 14, 2020, after a 10-year long relationship. They both were friends from the tenth standard and have a strong bond of 16 years of friendship.
They both were in a long-distance relationship for about 6 and a half years as Poojitha moved abroad for her further studies. She completed her masters and worked there for a while, and returned back to India and tied the knot with Saketh Komanduri.
If not for Singing, Saketh would have chosen to become a Chef as his favorite hobby is cooking, and puts his heart and soul into every dish that he cooks. Saketh says that he gets relieved of all the stress and tensions while cooking and would love to open a restaurant on the beachside in his sunset years.
He loves watching cartoons and animated series like Tom and Jerry, Pokemon and many more as they are fun and pure without reflecting any sort of negativity.
Saketh is currently (As of September 2020) working on two amazon web series as a composer and 3 – 4 songs that he has sung are yet to be released.
